Hangtags have become a common sight on long distance thru-hikes -- on the Big Three National Scenic Trails (AT, CDT, PCT), the small plastic tags hang from the packs of thru- and section-hikers signifying their intent to hike the entirety of the route. Many remain on hiker’s bags for years following their hike, a token of the massive accomplishment that is finishing a long trail.
South Dakota Centennial Trail #89 hikers and supporters deserve that as well, so we are now offering locally-made hangtags featuring a modified trail blaze. SD CT #89 does not maintain an official long distance hike registration which means any trail enthusiast can obtain one of these.
Suggested attachment options include: cable tie (included), PVC loop strap, or carabiner -- hangtag comes with hole already punched for your convenience to hang from your backpack, daypack, or use as a luggage tag.
